Smashing PS3 and Wii Game Consoles, Fuel for the Haters
The web site http://www.smashmyipod.com drew a lot of attention last year for smashing an iPod on video. They vowed to do the same to the Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii if enough people donated money for them to purchase the systems.
They collected enough donations to buy all the systems and now the videos are out. They claim it’s a “social experiment” but really they just want to aggravate the fans of each system for personal gain.
From their faq “Im not going to steal the money because if I actually do this, I can make a lot more money selling the video rights, and advertising inside the actual video. And I simply love smashing things!”
Plus one of them promotes their porn site via a link. A real desperate cry for attention because they can’t get laid.
